Northern Michigan offers an enchanting variety of water ways:  lakes, spirited or serene; rivers, wide or braided; creeks, swift or meandering.  Missaukee Paddle Sports has two locations making it convenient for you to access our local waters.

Our first is Nancy's Landing on the east shore of sparkling Lake Missaukee, in the heart of downtown Lake City.  Lake Missaukee is often referred to as "everyone’s favorite swimming hole.”

Or second location is at Ben Jeffs Muskegon River Park on M-55 and the Muskegon River.  The Muskegon River is a secret gem of a river.  It is less traveled and less populated than other rivers in the area.

With a multitude of other lakes and rivers within our reach, our settings are ideal.  We invite you to join us for a paddle on the water of your choosing.  You are sure to love it.

Join us for our 4th annual River Clean Up on the Muskegon River!

We are teaming up again this year with the Missaukee Conservation District and the Great Lakes Commission to clean up 30 miles of the upper Muskegon River.

The event is also supported by Butterfield Township, Ducts Unlimited, Houghton Lake Lake Association, Missaukee County Recycling Center, Muskegon River Watershed Assembly, and Whitebirch Canoe.

Where:  Ben Jeffs Muskegon River Park
When:  Saturday, August 28, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Space is limited, so sign up early!  Call us at 231-839-8265, or e-mail.

We will be providing lunch to our volunteers after the clean up.
